Scream Fortress 2024 or Scream Fortress XVI is the Halloween event that started on October 1, 2024, with the in-game activation of holiday-restricted cosmetics. Nine days later, the major seasonal update October 10, 2024 Patch added 7 new community Halloween maps, 21 new community cosmetic items, 4 new community taunts, 22 new Unusual effects Patch 1. Scream Fortress XVI has arrived! All cosmetic and taunt Cases will grant Halloween 2024 Unusual effects instead of their normal Unusual effects during the event. This does not include Crates. Survivor Spy can now disguise as a Zombie and will be seen as a Zombie by the enemy team (Thanks Sprinkles!) Halloween event.
